Curiouser and Curiouser.....Burton's Alice in Wonderland

It is extremely rare that I actually go to a movie theatre these days, but I just don't know if I can stand waiting until next March to see Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. I grew up mesmerized by the Disney version of the Lewis Carroll classic, and this much more grown-up version looks equally amazing, although much darker.

These images released this week are absolutely brilliant. Clearly, this story is perfect for a Burton retelling. Johnny Depp is the only man I can think of who retains his sex appeal dressed up in creepy face paint and a tophat.
